On Friday 13 October 2017 I used Vodacom facility by dialling *111# using option "6" Play /Shake Every Day and received a message at 20h26 that Vodacom has given me 30 mins gift on any network for 2 days.
On Saturday 14 October at 13h38 I made a call lasting 3mins, 4 secs Also on the same day at 13h42 another call lasting 18 mins 2 secs. The total of these 2 calls amounts to21mins 6secs.
Before the so-called "free gift" I had approximately 47 minutes still available. When I checked my minutes balance this morning 15 October 2017 by using option "1" I was shocked to see that now I have only 28 mins 33secs. Left!!!!!
It seems to me that Vodacom first use the customer’s available minutes and only thereafter the so -called "gift". This is totally unacceptable and cheating.
Is this now a method to generate income for Vodacom from innocent customers ??? As far as I am concerned this is a total ****. I have already informed all my Facebook and WhatsApp friends not to use this "gift" option.
I sent an e-mail to two different Vodacom e-mail addresses but received no response at all. Thereafter phoned Vodacom 082 111 and spoke to a consultant. After almost 10 minutes he could only then furnish me with another e-mail ********** I forwarded again to the given address but only received a reply “Vodacom Customer Care Reply - Authentication Response”
It is only that I want the problem solved. Why is it such a mission to get to this people or aren’t they capable and competent to do so!!! Why is it so difficult to contact Vodacom and to get a response from them to solve a problem or are they not interested ?
