NO FEEDBACK ON ********** CONTRACTS ACQUIRED WITH COUNTERFEIT DOCUMENTS.

On the 5th December 2017 it came under my attention that I have been a victim of ID theft and that there was 2 additional contracts acquired under my name with Vodacom. I was able to cancel one contract which was undelivered at that stage but they took delivery of one handset and activated the contract. A ***** case was opened at the police on the 6th December and I informed both Vodacom and the 3rd party were the contract was acquired that it was **********. A copy of the affidavit was handed in at Vodacom Chatz Langebaan and sent through to the applicable department on the 7th December 2017. Since then there has been no feedback from either Vodacom Chats Langebaan or Vodacom. I constantly need to follow up Vodacom Chats Langebaan and always get the same excuses. The store manager isn’t there but they will take my number and call me as soon as he comes back. At this stage my number should be lying all over their store. I haven’t even receive a reference number that proofs that a case has been opened or being investigated. I am an existing client of Vodacom. Vodacom deducted R129.70 from my account for the activation of the ********** contract which I was able to revers through my bank. Since then no money has been deducted but I have received emails telling me that I need to settle my account. For some reason not even the contract that is mine was debited from my account. The ********** line is still active when I log in to my account which means that nothing has been done regarding this matter. After my own investigation into the origin of the documents used. It was confirmed that all the documents used to acquire the new contracts was counterfeit documents. This is the worst service I have ever received from any service provider. I get the feeling that the service providers doesn’t care that they messed up as long as they can sign new contracts and get their money.
