No Feedback on discontinued phone replacement

Good afternoon, few months ago i was going to cancel my contract and was offered this great deal as the agent said im a gold member, it was a Alcatel alpha stunning phone for only R99 a month, a deal i couldn't refuse. A month later the phones touch buttons stopped working and we packed the phone away thinking we don't have money for repairs. eventually we did send it for assessment and according to the repair center the phone needs to be replaced manufacturing fault but vodacom doesn't stock that phone. i was told that someone would have contacted me Monday to discuss what other phones it can be replaced with but i still haven't heard anything, last sms i received was 29 July i went to my nearest vodacom to follow up myself and still no feedback. I need this phone replaced as we are struggling without. Please can someone contact me so we can get this sorted. I cant go to the nearest vodacom every time to follow up as im sitting with a newborn baby. Urgent response would be appreciated
