No feedback

My contract was due for upgrade on 4 Aug. On 8 Aug I called the Retention dept on ********** to enquire if Vodacom is willing to match a cheaper deal I can get from MTN. Pinkie advised me to send an email to ********** as the system was offline. I sent the email but got no response. On 12 Aug I called again and spoke to Zongi who promised to refer the matter and call me the same day at 12:00 - this never happened. I called again in the afternoon and was told he would call me before he went home at 18:00, I never heard from him. On 15 Aug I called yet again and spoke to Boitumelo who advised that she will refer the matter to both the JHB and Midrand management teams (the two call centres seem to share the same telephone number), and someone would get back to me within 48 hours. To date I have not heard anything from Vodacom. All I want is an answer. Is Vodacom willing to match MTN's deal - yes or no. I have been a customer for 12 years, yet Vodacom is not interested in retaining me. If they are not willing to match the deal, just say so, so I can start the process of porting to MTN.
