No data received. No solution from Vodacom

I was notified towards the end of last month that I have run out of data (longstanding monthly contract with Vodacom). Though it seemed unlikely, I didnt make a fuss and swithced my router off.

On the morning of 1 Dec I swithced my router back on and immediately received the same message that I'd run out of data already. Giving a slow update the benefit of the doubt, I left it until that evening to try again. Still nothing!

While using my husband's router and data in the meantime, I decided to call 111 yesterday to get to the bottom of my data whih still seems to have run out.

Vodacom have a ridiculous "my voice is my password" concept which I registered for and completed numerous time but never works!!! And leave one holding on, listing to **** for 3minutes - when you're already sitting with a problem needing to be solved. FIX that nonses first because I'm now at a point where I'm as peeved about you wasting my time as what I am about not receiving my data allocation for the month and having to use my husband's!

Despite listning to 3min of mind-numbing talk and music, I managed on two occasions yetserday to speak to operators in the call centre. The first suggested synchronizing my sim - didn't help. The second lady said I need to speak to the solutions dept. - Something to note was that the mind-numbing voice mand me aware this time around that Vodacom have found that the data allocation hasn't happened for all customers as expected at the eginning of the month but that it will be rectified asap. Neither ladies knew about this or bothered to mention it to me...

On hold for 5+ minutes with no answer to my call and still no data! (With a promise from lady #2 that if my call isn't taken within 1min, she will also escallated my call so I'll receive a call from the department) Mind-numbed after 5min, I hung up.

This morning I gathered the courage to call again. No mention of Vodacom still fixing a data allocation problem, lady number 3 said she'll not waste my time re-trying previous steps and suggested rather that she puts me straight through to solutions. Upon explaining that I' not planning on holding on till tomorrrow, she arranged to connect woth someone there first and the join my call to the solutions department directly. Worked like a charm but all that solutions were able to do was give disappointing info and no solutions.

It looks like night-owl data was allocated. Therefore all data must have been allocated me - meaning I've just depleted my allocation already and the fault can not possibly be with Vodacom. After assuring the 'solutions' lady that I have NOT used up 5Gb in a split seccond on the morning of 1 Dec, she agreed to escallate my call to another department. Who know which one that is but I was assured that they will contact me within 16DAYS!!!!!!!!! to look into my case. Solutions lady doesn't even have access to my usage to confirm or deny...

Patheric to say the least! And I now wonder if I ever ran out in November!

I have the same recorded in my conversationwith 'solutions' lady this morning. I will NOT pay for a cent of data used on my phone in the time that Vodacom takes to rectify this. I haven't caused this problem and I wont pay for it! Considering that my husband's data is being used instead of my own - which is diligently paid for, on time, each and every month, you'll need to reset his full data balance again, as at 1 Dec, as well.

I eagerly await your response, a credit for all data usage on my phone, rectification of my husbands data balance and of course my data!!!
