NO customer service from Vodacom and charged R14000 for data usage

On Sunday the 7 November my phone starting using cell phone data whilst on wireless network to sync with my iTunes music match folder. I didn't realise this until I noticed that my phone's battery was not charging as it was constantly downloading. But I was on my home wireless network. I switched off the phone and disabled the service. I researched online that this is a common issue with Apple's music match. Next morning I see that my data bill is almost R14 000.00!

I called Vodacom and logged a call (Ref: s3-jb721-ibh60) and the customer care service representative said that this was indeed a very serious situation. I asked why this had been allowed to increase so much only to find out I had a ridiculously high credit limited based on my credit rating. My first question was how is this determined? No one can tell me. I was promised feedback on this issue by the 18 November. No one called me back. I went into a Vodcom store and asked for help and they send off an email to which I again got no response. On the 21st I called again to ask why no one was helping me or how this situation came about and again was promised that this had now been escalated and someone would call me back. It was however mentioned on this call that basically my contract say I am liable for this but someone would come back and confirm this with me.

So Vodacom I ask you this: 1, why does no one come back to me when you promised to do this? 2, How can you hold me responsible for this account when it's a know Apple issue and I certainly didn't do this on purpose. 3, you charge R999.00 for 20GB of mobile data but now want to charge me R14000 for 19,35GB of data? You could one have come back to me and negotiated a settlement on this as it's not like you struggling. I have been a customer of yours for years now, pay on time and have multiple accounts with you

I have asked that my credit limited be adjusted as I would rather be cut off after spending R3000 than have this go on like this. Still no response on this.

I am not a network engineer or a cellphone technician that I know why or how this happened but it's clear that all you choose to do is ignore me and simply force me to pay the bill. So that's what I will do and then I will move my 4 accounts away from you and never do business with you again!
