No Customer Service
Vodacom has lost Customer Service in totality. Tickets are closed without proper feedback or no feedback at all. Every time you follow up, they want to log a new ticket as nobody is able to just resolve the old ticket. Or you are told feedback will still be provided.
So where we had signal in the past they only state they have future plans for extra towers. Waiting on Property, Budget and no time frame available. However to ensure that you have signal in the interim, that you actually paying for but not provided, you are more than welcome to purchase your own booster devices at an additional cost or suffer along until a tower is hopefully erected at a stage. How does that help that I need to buy additional devices for a service I am paying for. It is not my fault that we have lost signal. Vodacom is also quick to blame load shedding as the main cause for poor signal, however this continues weeks in and weeks out where no load shedding is implemented.
Where I requested a upgrade deal match already on the 12 of December 2019. No feedback has been provided other than it is at the upgrades department / back office. Amazing that we are almost no exactly 3 months later and still nothing and every time you need to explain it from the beginning again.
Then if you want to cancel your contract: You are not able to do so in advance. Need to do it in the month that is actually expires. You are quick to be pointed out to the cancellation charge if you like to cancel before you contract end date but no mention is made that they are unable to provide a proper service that you signed up for and paying for.
Meanwhile due to the lack of urgency from Vodacom we have already bought our own booster device @ R1 250 compared to the device Vodacom suggested @ R10 999. Although reception has been increased significantly, an additional booster device will still be required for other parts of the house.
Secondly the Upgrade query is still unresolved. Oupa from Retentions Department contacted me during March and said he has been tasked to resolve my upgrade query. A Few days later an upgrade deal was agreed on and once the quote was sent via sms to me on 19 March, the wrong phone was on the quote and had to be rejected (pReviouse issue I have red up about). IPhone 11 Pro 256gig Space Grey was the phone in discussion al along however the quote was on the IPhone 11 256gig Black, this is after the consultant confirm the colour as Space Grey, which is not available in the IPhone 11.
Tried contacting Oupa two days in a row however was only contacted three days later by himself. He did not want to take responsibility for the mistake he made and then stated to rectify this error the deal will have to go back to the back office once again for approval. I
accepted that once again the process needs to take longer and requested daily updated. Since then no update has been provided or any feedback provided. Once again, an indication of the lack in customer service as mentioned before.
Cannot explain how many times I have explained the deal match / Upgrade request information and how many times promises has been made however Vodacom lacks customer services as nothing has been resolved satisfactory or proper feedback provided.
