No customer satisfaction after being loyal
On the 6th of Feb 2016, I phoned the Vodacom cancellations dept. to give notice to cancel my contract expiring on 5 March 2016. I spoke to Lesego (I will verify this with my notes). She presented an alternative contract which suited my needs and I decided to take her up on this via this call. I was informed that this update/migration will be effective at the end of my contract (05 March 2016). She informed me what my charge will be at the end of February as well as that I would need to pay an additional month for the handset which I was not convinced about because it is a 24 month contract with 24 payments so why would I pay 25 months? I told her proceed but I would investigate and so far, I stick to my point on this.
That's the 1st issue and I wait for the billing to see if this is the case to take this up.
It is the 29th and my contract has been migrated prematurely, not the 5th of March as I was told. Vodacom has also took away benefits such as sms's that expire on 31 March due to this update. A benefit I was charged for and therefore have a right to. Phoning the customer \care on 111 has wasted 2 hours of my life today with no help or answer. Should have cancelled!"
