No customer care

I got my phone in March 2023 – on contract from the Vodacom store at east rand mall.

In July 2023 – could not make or receive calls – was told by you that I you had to try and repair – even though I wanted a replacement.

Sent in for repairs – got my phone back a week later.

Now, the same phone has the same problem, can’t make or receive calls.

I called your call centre – spoke to Thembisa – 6/12/2023 at 12:02 – she said to use date time and her name as a reference.

She advised that the store should replace the phone and I should go to the store.

I went to the store at around 1pm 6/12/2023 – Neal was completely unhelpful.

I then called your call centre again – spoke to Jade – 6/12/20023 at around 13:25

She spoke to Neal.

There is no resolution

I had a copy of terms and condition printed – I asked Neal to show me where it says that they are not responsible.

He could not. Because, you cannot say that a product I got from you – Vodacom – is not your problem.

According to the CPA – I gave you the chance to repair – and the same problem has occurred – it is now your responsibility to replace a product that is not doing what it needs to - namely, I have a telephone that cannot make and receive calls, the most basic of functions required of a phone.

Please do bear in mind – that the 1st time the problem occurred – the phone was only 5 months old – still considered new.
