No costumer service in Vodacom
I had the worst costumer experience ever with vodacom. 1. I had to call their insurance numerous times for them to honour their insurance promises. I was sent to the nearest Vodacom shop. In my case it was Vodacom shop at Savannah Mall in Polokwane. I got a so called “As good as new Apple iPhone. Upon use of the phone I realised that the phone needed constant recharging . Within 7days I went back to the store to tender my complaint and return the phone. There is where the matter got the second gear of hardship, I was told I need to bring the original box of the defective product by the front staff, I asked to speak to the manager who seemed from start not interested to hear my complaint saying I got many Apps open on my Phone, mind you I have been using iPhones for more the three years, I know a bit about iPhone usage. Seeing how the manager was annoyed and with poor product knowledge I decided to video record the encounter, realising that the manager started insulting me using profanities which I am not allowed to write even on hellopeter, saying I should get out of the shop. I have since June 2022 written and called Vodacom costumer service about my encounter. In the interaction there was a promise to 1. Get back to me, (at one stage an agent called me to ask me where is the store situated, even though I have stated it clearly in an email) 2. follow up the matter with the owner of the shop to get back to me. I am now straggling with the phone as it has gotten worse and load shading has engulfed our country. I have been taken advantage and the so called customer service in Vodacom doesn’t exist.
