No contact to resolve matter after three weeks!!!

I posted a complaint on Hellopeter on 10 August 2022 and no one had the decency to contact me to resolve the matter. It seems like it went onto a black hole and disappeared into the ether.

My complaint was as follows:

I upgraded my contract on 27 July 2022 with Vodacom. The deal that I selected was the following:

HP 15 Celeron Jet Black Laptop, Windows 11 500GB with 5G Anytime data and 5GB Night Owl Data + Vodafone Alcatel R219t. This packages was advertised for R249 x36 months and I was happy to upgrade to this.

I received an email that Ram Couriers will be delivering my laptop however, to my disappointment when I called Ram Couriers this morning (10 August 2022) as I have not heard from them, they mentioned that they were unable to deliver my laptop as they were unable to get in contact with me. Upon confirming the contact numbers, I found that these were my old numbers that are no longer in use ********** and **********). I was then told that my order was returned to Vodacom as they cannot keep stock at their warehouses.

I then called Vodacom and to my surprise I was told that there is nothing that there can do. I was informed that they will need to cancel this order and I will need to re-order this online. Such an inconvenience but I agreed only to find out that the upgrade deal I selected was no longer available. This was now R279 x 36 months (an additional R1080 over the 36 month period). I am not willing to paying this extra cash for mistake that was made by Vodacom. Where did they get these contact numbers from? I have had my ********** number with Vodacom since 1997 and this has always been my primary for the past 25 years.

If a long standing customer as myself is being treated like this, I think its time that I move my business to another service provider. In addition, when I asked to speak to a TL, Supervisor or Manager, I was blatantly told that they were all busy.

Extremely pathetic if you ask me.
