no call back, and passing out of personal info

I visited the Vodacom site to look at taking out a new contract but wanted to get someone to speak to me in more detail. So I clicked on the link for someone to call me back in 24 hours. It is almost a week later and needless to say no call back, but what is unacceptable is that it seems my number was given out and I am now constantly getting calls and spam/promotion sms's. I have always been extremely careful to not give out my number because of this, but now I am on some data base and it is without doubt due to someone at vodacom supplying it. <br> <br> Completely unacceptable and impossible to now get off this database....the same thing happened when I took out a contract on my work phone. Its a brand new number yet from day 1 I received countless sms's. This was before I even made a call so also clearly someone at vodacom selling this info, legally or *******ly I don't know but I would like someone to do something about this.
