No assistance from Vodacom after ***** on contracts
1. I have 2 data contracts on a Vodacom account. 2. On receipt of the June 2020 account in the beginning of July, I saw that Airtime & Handset upgrades were done on both contracts, which was done without my knowledge or consent. 3. The monthly account increase from R218.99 to R3,355.03. 4. When I phoned Vodacom Client Services on 14 July the consultant confirmed that she will: a. Escalate my query to back office who will contact me; b. I will receive an SMS with the reference number for the call; and c. That I will receive feedback within 7 days. 5. No SMS was received with the reference number. 6. After no one contacted me I phoned Client Services on 21 July and the consultant confirmed that I should submit a dispute declaration to *** to resolve the issue. 7. According to the consultant the ***** Division will get back to me within 24 hours. 8. The consultant provided the reference numbers for the calls on 14 July and 21 July, telephonically. 9. This ***** declaration and supporting documents were sent to *** on 21 July with the 2 reference numbers from Customer Services. 10. On 27 July I sent another e-mail to *** after no feedback was received, with the 2 reference numbers from Customer Services. a. Ref No: *** b. Ref No: *** 11. On 3 August I still didn't receive any feedback from ***** Division and confirmed per e-mail that I will be returning the incorrect debit order and are awaiting the correct amount to be deducted. 12. I phoned Customer Services again on 26 August who instructed me to resend all documents to *** and that they will make a note on my file for ***** Division to contact me. a. Ref No: *** 13. Since then I received a telephone call during September from the Vodacom Debtors Department to follow up on the overdue balance on my account. 14. The Debtors Department confirmed that they will make another note on my file for ***** Division to phone me back. 15. The Debtors Department phoned me 2 times during October to follow up on the overdue account. 16. The first consultant took down the 3 reference numbers and confirmed that she will make a note for ***** Division to contact me. 17. The Second consultant confirmed that she will make another note on my file for ***** Division to contact me. 18. On 10 November I received another call from Debtors Department. 19. The consultant confirmed that the account, now R16,775.15 was handed over to Legal Services, but asked me to hold on while he will sort the query out with his manager. 20. The call was disconnected after 10 minutes without any help. 21. I phoned back and while the second consultant was busy with me the call was again disconnected after about 6 minutes. 22. I phoned back a 3rd time, and before the consultant could assist the call was disconnected. 23. Since then no one contacted me.
