no account but handed over

So vodacoms collection dep phones me up and tells me that they gonna hand me over!!!! I was like *** i font have an account with you......?so mow they keep on phoning me and i keep on explaining, its even registered on my itc.so i went to my lawyer and he said that they must have the paperwork to proof it.i asked them on monday but the guy couldnt answer me.can someone with more brains please tell me *** is going on...
