NIGHTMARE WITH VODACOM

I have been shoved from pillar to post on an error communicated by their sales rep at Vodacom Festival Mall.

1. They sold me a contract while they did not have stock on Hand, and later forced me to pay for it and when i disputed the debit order i was charged cancellation fees and penalty fees. Their sales Rep assisted me with a contract for a router and after filling in the contract and completing application forms, she came back to tell me that they unfortunately do not have stock but were expecting stock the following day. she assured me that all is well and she would deliver the router. she only gave me the simcard to use on the day as i was already working from home prior to the lockdown. I went home and the simcard was not working. I reported the following day and was told to return it as the simcard was damaged. I drove back to the store 3 days after communication to return the simcard as the router was not delivered and debit order went through despite communication and request to cancel contract. i was only refunded the activation fee in cash and was told Vodacom will refund me, if not then i can dispute the payment with the bank.

I did that but was charged an arm and a leg for cancellation and the penalty for "none payment received" after i disputed the payment and the bank returned my money. My existing contract was moved to "cash payment" regardless of it being on debit order for the last 21 months and me paying monthly without fail, and without my consent.

2. On the day i went to action the above, i decided to upgrade my current lines as it is due for an upgrade as per communication sent. I choose the 2 x LG phones and their manager assisted after seeing how i had struggled. I was given a quote prior to agreeing to the upgrade as my new contract end next month. The quote given was just over R600 and i agreed and signed and there was a special running concurrently with the deal where 20GB was awarded on my line.

Due to NO1 I was unable to use my new phones, the 20GB and any other bought thereof. I was billed morethan the agreed amount and April i GOT BILLED R980 which is almost double the amount agreed upon. I tried going back to the stocre to have this rectified but they were closed due to lockdown. I called Vodacom all department cust.care/collection etc and even drove to VodaWorld and spoke to everyone including their Ninja and sent emails without success. furthermore my lines were disabled all 4 lines so i was out of connection for over a month defeating the purposes of me needing that router and the upgrade :( and working from Home.

I managed to go back again this month and everyone can guess why i wrote this review :(:(:( I am still living daily in this nightmare 3 months and counting, spoke to the manager who assisted and she told me i am being charged for 4 lines and 4 insurances for only God knows why and she will email and dispute charges and give me feedback. I have been checking my phone and I guess the only notification i will receive nextweek from Vodacom is another debit order #NOHELPWHATSOEVER
