Nightmare at vodacom midlands mall

25/1/2025 I was in to upgrade a contract. I was looking for a Samsung. I was introduced by the consultant to a "huawei a13" . They never told me about the complications with Google. I did not know about gbox. I foolishly took the stupid phone.

25/1/2025 - I submitted it to my company so it can be interlinked within the company portal. They have to install company apps which keeps me ready to work at anytime. They informed me about the Google issue. They rejected it and told me to exchange it for a compatible phone.

On Monday 27/1/2025, I went in to change the phone. The phone was untouched. I never removed it from the box. They refused to take it back. They said if it had technical issues they would take it back. It did have severe technical issues as far as my company is concerned. They should have made this known to me. It is a ****py system. It's not the consultant's fault; it is vodacoms!! Vodacom offers a 7 day return policy... until you decide to return something.... And then you hear story after story. It's a trick. WHO takes home a phone and in the first seven days pin points a problem? Now thanks to yalls misleading and very selective memory in forgetting that one minor detail about a major Google problem, I am stuck with phone that can't be used for the purpose I need it. I went in the store at 10:30, and tried to make them understand that they should have made it abundantly clear that Google was an issue. If you tell people this, they will not buy these silly phones.....I couldn't take it anymore; relented.... And guess how simple it was to sort out my simple problem? I sat another 2 hours in wait for them to set up my "very simple problem" - That is how simple the simple problem was for the professionals to sort out! I left the store at 14:30. Today I am still trying to get my supervisor to enlist my phone. When I took the phone back it was unused by me. So very sorry. Vodacom's return policy is only valid from the time you take the phone until you walk in to exchange. Once you mentioned exchange; put you life on hold because they are going to make excuse after petty excuse to leave you with the problem. They said it's a big Job to cancel one contract for another.... But when I upgraded I received an sms within seconds telling me of my old contact being canceled. Any way today it's still less than 7 days.... Hope yall are happy with yalls deceit. Who takes a phone home and finds a factory fault within 7 days. To come across the fault you perform a certain action that reveals the fault. What are the chances of anyone performing that specific action in 7 days. In seven days you are nowhere near knowing the phone! Not consultants fault... They are taught to deceive

You can't download Mr delivery from play store. What is the use of the play store. These vodacom idiots should notify the people that when they're buying a huawei; they are buying a "made in China", cheap, good for nothing heart with a Stent. If you take q huawei; trust me: your going to need a bypass
