New System Stinks, Regret ever swopping over to Vodacom

<p>I decided to move to Vodacom from MTN simply because I was on a prepaid number and wanted a contract. I had an existing contract with Vodacom so I assumed it would be easier to just add another contract on to my existing profile BOY was I wrong. Turns out Vodacom is rolling out a new system and NOTHING works, took me three trips to a Vodacom Store just to port my number. I was told it would be easier to put my existing number onto prepaid then on to contract.... Well no not true. I have now been to the shop 3 times to sort out my contract, can't do it as every time they try to a credit vet my request it provides an error code. I was then told that I must just get a new number (do you think I would have gone through all the pain to port my number if I just wanted a new number) or just wait around for the IT guys to get around to looking at the error code. No time line as to when this would happen. Just sit around and wait deal. I then phoned the customer care line to see what I could do from my side only to be told that they don't have access to the new system and I can be helped at a store. How do you roll out a new system that half of your staff does not have access to and the half that does can't use it. I have been very patient with all of this until I was basically told you will just have to sit around and wait for the IT guy. I know my tiny little contract might not mean much to you, but the fact that I have been to the store 6 times and yet to have accomplished anything it really frustrating. What is even more frustrating is that here is no end in sight. The special I wanted ends 6 August. I Just can’t wait to be told oh sorry you can no longer have the special as it has ended. Never mind that this as already been a 2 week process with ZERO result. I regret ever swapping over and am seriously considering going back to MTN with my tail between my legs…</p> <p> </p>
