NEW PHONE NOT WORKING AFTER A DAY!

I recently lost my phone and claimed from my insurance. I went to Vodacom Mall of the North where I met a very sweet lady who helped fill the forms and kept me informed. Though Cellsure took 4 days to respond I eventually got my phone on Friday 18 January 2019. The battery was on 79%. I switched it on and after a few hours it switched itself off and then on again. I thought I must have pressed the wrong button and let it at that. On saturday evening I put the phone on the charger overnight. In the morning I checked the battery and it was now on 77%. I put it on the charger again and went to church. When I got back it was now on 69% and this time I found it off. I went back to the shop and told them what happened. Now please bear in mind that I have not had a phone for a week already. I am told they need to book the phone in and I will get it after 7days. 7 DAYS!!!!! That will be 14 days without a phone!!! When Voda debits my account I do not remember being told that they will debit when it suits me. I expect a new working phone by 16h00 - 22 Jan 2019. If not, I will escalate this further and I am pretty sure I can get much more than a mere R6k phone. Tik Tok!

I got a call from Dean in the complains department but for some reason no one seemed to know what the status of my phone OBF booking is, or where it is or what the reference number is. All I got from the store is we will get back to you when the courier brings it back. The complaints department tells me that they unfortunately cannot help because process says 7 days. So nothing can be done to remedy the situation. Its day 5 since my post and my phone still has not come back and there is still no resolution, I AM TOLD TO JUST WAIT!!!!!!. I am just putting it out there that I am not upgrading my contract come October. I will move to a supplier who actually makes an effort. Thank you for nothing VODACOM!

This is terribly disappointing. I expected more from this company. I have had this contract for about 3 years and have been using this number with Vodacom for over 10 years. I have an issue and I am told about terms and conditions? Really? 13years of loyalty and you tell me about terms and conditions. How disrespectful!! Have you no shame!!!
