New Deals - No Stock

I am absolutely appalled at the service that Vodacom offers. They launched their new deals on Tuesday 11th August. Today (2 days later) I went to the Vodacom store in the Nicolway Centre, Bryanston to upgrade my contract.<br> I was specifically looking for the new combo deal of a Sony Experia Z3 Compact and SmartBand. However I was first told that they only have stock of the phone and but do not stock the Smartband. When I asked how long it would take to get the Smartband, I was informed that there was no stock in the Vodacom warehouse and there is no ETA for delivery.<br> <br> I fail to see how Vodacom can get away with this, surely if you advertise a special, you should have stock BEFORE you advertise. I'm sure this is the requirement as per the CPA as well.<br> According to the CPA, if Vodacom can't fulfil my order (due to their, or their supplier's, negligence), then they are meant to provide me with a substitute and no additional cost. When I mentioned the CPA, the sales person gave me a blank look, like she'd never heard of it before.<br> <br>
