New Customer from CELL C to Vodacom = BAD Service INTRO

So I convince my husband to leave CELL C and move over to Vodacom. I visit Bayside Mall in Table View and Shaun helps me on Sat, 27/05 to start the process. Shaun used the Voda system to port the number, asked me to come back on Monday to finalize paperwork. On Monday they inform me he is on leave! Took half a day off to do this. Wasted. I got back on Tuesday, he has NO idea who I am. Makes me sit for almost an hour to inform me he does not know what is going on around him. I inform him about my disappointment, and he gets all agro with me! Suzanne jumps in and saves the day. In the meantime (on Tues) I received an sms saying that the number ported successfully - visit your nearest Voda Shop. I go back. She checks, and the number is pending. He entered it on the "wrong" system. Filled out all the forms, Suzanne sends away on Wednesday. Today is Thursday, still no phone and no contract. The number is still pending with the ports dpt. Almost a week later and this is how we are introduced to our new service provider. I have spend my entire week driving up and down, taking leave, organising babysitters because of the time spent at Bayside Voda Shop and STILL NO PHONE!. What a waste of time, energy and money thus far. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT! When I said last night I wished I could reverse the application, I was told to "maybe do just that"... ***?

only because I went through 6 days of effort to eventually get my upgrade. Then it took another 4 days before I could make calls. After I collected my phone, the sim was inserted, not registered. I was not offered to at least get the contacts on new device, no! wanted to charge met R297 for contacts, R297 for photos and R297 to get my old phone (16GB iPhone) onto my new one (Iphone 6). Something that took Vodacom previously 20 minutes to do to transfer. I am still disgusted and hope the 24 month contract will happen to the speed of light!
