New contract still not active after three days

I took out a new Vodacom Contract on Fri 10th Feb, I sat through the terrible attitude & un-helpfulness of staff & did what was necessary. I was told the Contract will be active in 24 hours, in the evening I got an sms that the contract was active. I tried using the device with the sim & it didn't work.<br> <br> I call the store on Sat morning, they were now insisting I must wait till the end of the day for the Contract to be active instead of trying to help me. I waited unnecessarily till Sunday, I then phoned Vodacom after sales. After holding on for more than 30 minutes, the lady told me that the sim is active and I must go back to the store. I went back to the store, staff was totally confused , eventually I got a refund for the sim & was told to visit another store. I went to another store, they did a sim swop & was told it would be active in 4 hours. The sim is still not active!<br> <br> What more must I do? How am I going to compensate me for the three days lost & the additional data I had to buy? Vodacom has failed terribly in trying to manage the negative reaction of its price increase. One would think taking out a new Contract would at least be easy, but even that Vodacom fails at
