New contract but it works like a second hand phone

I've written to reviews on Vodacom and still no joy. I heard someone from Vodacom will phone me, they only contacted me on Saturday the 14th March and was suppose to send me an email. I'm still waiting for the email and the resolution. They can cancel this contract and I'll continue using my old phone. New phone that went for repairs and now they telling me the phone was not opened they just did a software update. The phone is doing exactly the same thing. I need this resolved
