NEW CELL PHONE BRAKES AFTER DAYS
On 8 January 2016 I bought a Blackberry z3 phone for my daughter for her 32nd birthday at Foshini's Bela Mall in Bela Bela. The lady in the shop inserted the pay as you go card and I took the phone, wrapped it and gave it to my daughter on her birthday on 11 January 2016. She opened the present and decided to do a sim swop as she would like to keep her previous number. She took the phone to the Vodashop in Pick and Pay Mall in Bela Bela where they did the sim swop. She took the phone home and it worked until she installed a game a month later. The phone totally froze. On 8 February 2016 she took the phone back to Foshini's where it was bought a month before to report the problem. The phone was send to Vodacom Repairs Pretoria City and came back on 29 February 2016 with the report that the sim reader pin was damaged and the cost for repairs would be R2850. This is unacceptable to pay R2303 for a phone and a month later R2850 for repairs! I hope that this matter can be resolved in a peaceful way! Thanks, Mathilda<br>
