New and unexplained charges continue to appear on my account.
Dear Vodacom,
I would like to formally raise my frustration regarding the ongoing issues with my contract and billing.
For the past five months, I have had to contact your customer support or billing department almost every month because new and unexplained charges continue to appear on my account. I now feel forced to scrutinize every invoice I receive because the billing on my account has become unreliable and difficult to trust.
The only reason I have not cancelled this contract is because I would incur a cancellation penalty fee. Otherwise, I would already have moved to another service provider due to the poor experience I have had.
To make matters worse, every time I contact customer service, I am sent from one department to another. The Fibre department refuses to assist with SIM contract or billing-related queries, which leaves me going in circles without any proper resolution.
According to the invoice I received on 7 May, there is now an indication that I missed a payment at the end of March, which is incorrect and unacceptable.
I request that someone competent thoroughly reviews my account and resolves the ongoing billing discrepancies once and for all.
In addition, please cancel the debit order mandate on my account with immediate effect. Going forward, I would prefer to make payments via EFT or directly in-store.
I expect urgent feedback and a proper resolution to these ongoing issues.
I have also previously requested that my account be blacklisted from any upgrades or online service activations as an added security measure. However, this request still has not been actioned, which is extremely concerning given the ongoing issues on my account.
