Never upgrade your cellphone contract with Vodacom over the phone!!

A call center operator phoned me for an upgrade and I ended up with a contract that gives me R 220 airtime and not 220 minutes as I was led to believe, by the smooth talking scripted salesman. Why would I want to go from a 250 minutes to R 220 airtime contract ? I realized this after about three days, returned the phone and requested to be placed back onto my original contract. It has now been over a month no confirmation that the returned phone was received. Several calls and being sent from one department to the other being assured that it has been escalated, run out of airtime half way through the month already as the airtime I now have is a fraction of what was on my original contract. I want out of this contract and if you refuse I will take it further and move to another provider after being with Vodacom for over ten years already. Ref 1- ********** ********** this is just one of several references !!!
