Never choose Vodacom!

Vodacom is there to supposedly help you, yeah right!

After seeing that I have an account billed at R2891.09 for next month (I usually pay R629.99), I called customer care to sort it out.

According to the first consultant I spoke to this morning, big data bundles was being bought at a rapid speed since the start of February. The person (whoever it is) just selects adds to Bill and I have to pay, no authorization or anything needed. I can't understand how you can just select add to bill without ANY AUTHORIZATION or any verification. I was furious so I hang up rather than continuing a conversation that's not going anywhere.

I called Vodacom Customer care again as I realized that the device is the one that was ****** (I thought that it was the tablet, but it wasn't because it has an MTN sim in it. The second consultant told me to send an email to ***** as I realized that that specific numbers' Sim is long gone (it was activated in the store when I took out the contract in December 2017 and I haven't used it since) and the device was ****** last year In November after I upgraded on an old contract.

I did everything she asked and send the documents to *****.

I just got off the phone with *****. I'm now supposed to call accounts to see what the usage was where and to try and sort it out!

The Sim is gone! It was activated in the store in December 2017 and that was that. Sim card got lost when we moved. I didn't report it because I forgot and I never had problems with it. According to *****, no Sim swop was done and I was responsible for the sim. Wow! Right?

There was no activity on that sim since the device was ******. I saw that my old number (the MTN prepaid sim that was in the ****** device) came online two weeks ago and left all my WhatsApp groups, but just before that my sim was buying data.

This is all too much of a coincidence! They don't want to help me. They are sending me in circles and I can't leave and go to the store, as Im working from home and we are on lockdown!

Now I need to pay for data I didn't buy, after paying months for a device that was ******!

Vodacom, please close and stop my contracts!
