Negligent Attitude

My father recently passed away. This was reported to the deceased department at Vodacom **********

I instructed them to put his number ********** onto prepaid. For 2 weeks I got no response.

After 2 weeks Vodacom rep**** with an email from Cassandra Bloem-Legal on which it was insisted that an amount of R3500 should be paid to Vodacom in order to keep my late fathers number on prepaid.

I refuse to pay Vodacom anymore money due to the following reasons:

Before my fathers death, I picked up on his account that he has been billed for extra unauthorized transactions for well over a year. Due to my fathers condition, he was unable to follow up on this himself. But, I guess this suited Vodacom because the debit orders just kept on running.

This was indicated to the person named above, but ignored.

These authorized transactions included:

1. ********** Subscription services that's been charging him 12 per day on his number **********

I managed to cancel this on the My Vodacom website. But this already amounted to around R4000+ Vodacom took to their pocket Who authorised this?

2. Extra Mobile Contracts were loaded onto his profile since Nov 18 without his consent, Account number I ********** -3, Numbers ********** 861 and ********** 036

My father cancelled this over the phone in Nov 18 when he picked this up, but the debit orders kept on running and was never cancelled. The never received anything for this. This was around R400 per month. This amounted to R5000 up until now.

Counting the above together, this is credit owed by Vodacom at around to R9000+. Now, I insist that Vodacom credit the account of the late Mr CJ Geyser and switch the number in question back to prepaid.

Feel free to contact me.

Received a call from Vodacom telling me that they will forward my issue to the legal department. Just as I expected......absolutely nothing done so far. Pathetic, useless and *********** is only a few words to describe Vodacom. The matter remains unresolved
