Negligence

<p>Good Day, </p> <p> </p> <p>I have a huge problem due to negligence from Vodacom Cape Gate. I went there in November 2016 to cancel my contract due to it coming to an end in December 2016. They told me I need to come a month before the time to cancel. I went then the consultant who helped me told me that only my dad's details need to be on the form and nothing of since the contract is in my dad's name.</p> <p> </p> <p>Yesterday I went back to Vodacom to ask why are they asking me to pay a R400 and something and they told me that my contract is not cancelled etc. I showed them the proof and they went to the email that was sent to cancel the contract and they discovered that the consultant gave the incorrect information as to what number needs to be cancelled.</p> <p> </p> <p>I refuse to pay the Money as I followed the correct procedures to cancel my contract and that it is negligence from Vodacom Cape Gate and should be liable for the fees. </p> <p> </p> <p>Please can thI'd be rectified as I wouldn't like my dad to be blacklisted due to NEGLIGENCE from Vodacom's side.</p> <p> </p> <p>I urgently need this sorted out please. </p> <p> </p> <p>Please note that I never had problems with Vodacom before, just three months before my contract came to and end my data started getting less etc so that is also a concern for me.</p> <p> </p> <p>I will not leave the matter like this and will go for legal assistance if this is not sorted out as soon as possible. </p> <p> </p> <p>Regards, </p> <p>S</p>
