NBA subscription R7 per day my ass
I have been receiving sms's for 2 months, stating the following: "Catch up on the latest NBA action now! Click HTTPS://watchnba.com You're currently subscribed to NBA at R7 Per day. To cancel visit www.pbm.cx" Now, because I didn't subscribe to anything, I thought this sms was a **** and that they WANT me to contact them and THEN you get subscribed unwillingly, so I ignored it. Then, yesterday, I realised that I really have R7 less airtime every day! No joke. I've been buying airtime like mad in July but thought it was due to all the loadshedding and having no wi fi when the power is off. So I contacted Vodacom and asked them to look into this. They then saw that I am really subscribed to this NBA thing so they unsubscribed me. I want to know, seeing that Vodacom is partners with these shady 3rd party companies - haven't they saw enough problems? People are getting subscribed without knowing it all the time. I will NEVER subscribe to ANYTHING that costs me R7 a day!!! I am a single mom and had to buy extra airtime which I couldn't afford. How does these 3rd party companies get access to my mobile account without my consent? I NEVER SUBSCRIBED TO ANY SUBSCRIPTION of NBA. I looked into my Whatsapps, never was nothing for 12 June, the day Vodacom said I subscribed, so it must have been from a website or some other place, and it HAD to be 2 clicks according to NBA themselves (I contacted them). So yes, sure I clicked 2 times on SOMETHING but surely not a subscription of R7 a day! I want Vodacom to give me a credit of the whole amount worth of airtime I lost in the 2 months please. That is the least they can do. I am a loyal customer since 1998 and I have 4 contracts on my name, had that for many years too.
