my tab that just cracked

Hi I bought a Vodafone tab and it just cracked when using it. This happen the day after I bought it and I ask the sales assistant if I could get a new one or can it be fixed free of charge she rep**** no it was my mistake. The phones LCD is cracked and not the screen and. I mailed vodacom online complaints still no reply Im running around and nothing is being done.
