My number was recycled without my knowledge
I am really disappointed by the way Vodacom operates. I have not been using my SIM card for a few months for various reasons and now I want to get a contract on the same number I’ve been using for the last 10 years and I’m told it’s been recycled and given to someone else. I don’t see how they are allowed to do this when I use my number for WhatsApp and Facebook account. I spoke to a rude consultant by the name of Flora who refused to escalate my complaint and wouldn’t give me a reference number. Vodacom cannot give away the Numbers we had Rica’d all those years ago, otherwise what was the whole point of registering our names on SIM cards if we can be wrongfully evicted from our own numbers without being informed. Vodacom needs to rectify this if not I will take this matter to ICASA
