My Flip phone in for 4th repair.

I once again have a problem with my Flip phone. JOB NUMBER: ***2 This all started in August last year. I took it in for repairs, and it took a month to be repaired. Then, in January again, for the same problem, and then February again. The screen keeps lifting. in the middle by the fold. I was told when leaving the shop the last time IN FEBRUARY (Witbank Repair Shop), that if it happens again, I will receive a new device. Richard, the Manager at the store, was the one who said this to me. Well the screen has lifted AGAIN, and I took it in. I was then told that only 2 of the repairs are on the system. The last repair was done in 1 day. I received it following day. They had the parts in store. When I phoned Vodacom I was told it takes 3 days to get a replacement device approved. I have waited patiently, but I received messages that the parts have been delivered instead of the device being replaced. I have phoned twice and have been told that escalation emails have been sent but I have received no feedback. My Warranty ends next month, and I do not think it is fair that I sit with a faulty device. It’s inevitable this will happen again, and I’ll have to cover the cost myself. We have been clients for so many years and have many contracts but that doesn't seem to mean anything these days. I love my Flip, and I would really appreciate the device being replaced.

I was just phoned by Vodacom repairs and have been informed that because the Warranty ends next month, they will not replace the device? This has been a problem since last August 2024! I cannot accept this!! I asked the representative what happens when the screen lifts again, and she told me that I must just pray it doesn't happen again. Are you kidding me??? I have asked to speak to a supervisor, she is apparently in a meeting and will call me back.

Hi there,
An update from my side. I got the message from Vodacom that my phone has been repaired and is being sent back...
Pieter from Vodacom called me on Friday, saying he would escalate the matter again, as I don't want to accept a repaired phone, especially since the warranty is expiring in the 8th month.
I spoke to Pieter this morning, who said he is still waiting for feedback. Please, can you help me get this issue resolved? I am struggling with the phone I am currently using. I have a business to run and this is really making things difficult. It's frustrating because it's not my fault that this is keeps happening to the device.
