My contracts are with Vodacom not your subdivsion company
I have a contracts with Vodacom and then I get called and told the below:
We will give you everything double on your contract's with no additional costs and should you wish to cancel you can contact Vodacom within 14 days.
I accepted and then realised that I do not need these contracts and called back about 8 days later (within the 14 days period).
I spoke to a lady by the name of Sandra who advise me to keep at least one line open in-case I want another contract in future.
So we discussed the fact that I would then reduce the contract to R29.00 per month just to keep the line open and also my 10GIG sim which is for my grandmother's router.
All other contracts would be cancelled.
Debit order goes off from Vodacom for a ridiculous amount and when I phoned to question why, considering I cancelled my contracts I get told the deal was done with a subdivision company of Vodacom.
My initial contract is with Vodacom and if I change anything I do it with Vodacom, If I cancel and I phone Vodacom they should do it irrespective whether it was done with their subdivision company.
I started my contracts with Vodacom and I get billed by Vodacom, if I wanted to work with a subdivision or another company I would have done so out of my own.
It is totally unacceptable that I now have to wait 14 days for a investigation to be done, because the deal was not done by Vodacom, but still works through Vodacom, especially considering that when I phoned Vodacom I was told that the cancellations will be done and that 2 remaining contracts will be the only one's remaining open.
I would now like to cancel all my contracts with Vodacom, I do not want to hear any excuses etc. I have made my mind up.
If Vodacom is going to make their clients deal with 3rd parties then I don't need Vodacom and will then rather go and work through one of these 3rd party companies.
If someone from Vodacom management can get in touch with me and arrange this accordingly it would be greatly appreciated.
After about 13 years with Vodacom it is sad that this is how clients get treated and that it is just expected that client's should fork out money and just pay.
I stand with what I said, I don't care if Vodacom has subdivision companies they work with, I started all my contracts with Vodacom and cannot understand why they are / were not able to fix this issue.
Instead I have to deal with the subdivision company.
