My contract has expired at Vodacom.

I have been trying to contact vodacom due to the fact that my contract has expired, and I would like to cancel it. I have been trying to get through to them on several occations, waiting several minutes in the "cancellation" option. I then tried the " upgrade" option, it wasn't 10 seconds when a kind lady answered. She could not help me and offered to put me through to someone who could... back to square one, waiting several minutes for someone to help. Is no one available at "cancellations"? PS: I went to the nearest Vodavom store, they referred me to the following number: ***. Please help.
