my biggest regret was taking on a service provider like Vodacom!
This is my second complaint about Vodacom for the same reason as the first, i have taken out a contract with Vodacom at the beginning of this year and i am embarrassed to say that it was the biggest mistake i have made regarding a service provider! i actually requested to be moved to a cash payer rather then a debit order due to me not being able to trust Vodacom with my banking details. now that i requested to be a cash payer they are still trying to charge me with a debit order fee. i received my statement and invoice via email on the the 13th of November stating that i have to pay my normal installment fee which i paid cash before the 1st of December then i now get a statement saying i owe R100 for a debit order that never went off!!! this is so frustrating i requested to be cash payer 3 weeks or more before my next debit order should have went off that was more the enough time to change it. the thing that bothers me is Vodacom is so quick to tell you that you owe money but the level of service is beyond pathetic their call centre agents are so confused, i have called so many times and each one gives me a different story the miscommunication is terrifying. i refuse to pay money for something that is not my fault and furthermore if i owe the money and its my fault fine but contact the customer let them know what is going on instead of going into their personal account and taking their money without consent!!! and also dont give me the wrong information how is it that the debit order went off the first week in november but iam being told to pay fee in my Januarys statement????
