My 90year old mother has been unable to use her prepaid vodacom phone since December 2024

My 90year old mother has been unable to use her prepaid vodacom phone since December 2024. When I tried to check her phone the sim card was not working. I went into a vodacom store and they advised that the sim card had been recycled and I must contact their customer care centre which I duly did only for them to tell me to visit a vodacom store. My concern is that there was still over R1000 Airtime on her sim card and I would like to transfer the airtime to another number. No one is willing to answer me.

Reviewer Update
I was contact by Peter after my 1st review on Hello Peter, an offer was made and accepted and he sent me an email to which I responded. However, my email has been deleted without being read and I am still waiting for Vodacom to honour the settlement with me. I also received an sms advising that the service ticket has been closed.
