Multiple Cell insurances loaded onto my account

Went into the vodacom app to check my account and noticed it was around R500 more than usual. Checked the details and was surprised to see two different amounts for Comp Cell Insurance of R239 & R223.58. I have never requested high band cover insurance even for my iPhone 7 as we are covered by personal so I made the call to customer care where I was put through to billing and was then told to contact the insurance call centre - had the usual drop the call cos your issue is going to spoil my day reaction 1st time but luckily the first operator from 111 gave me the number (must be a common complaint) so at least someone was being proactive... Called the ********** number again and this time actually had someone inform me that this is a cover that was sent to me via SMS last month (I was out of country from the 27 June to 25 July and left my phone offline because we all know what happens when roaming - prefer a local sim & WhatsApp) and was also then advised the second amount was for a previous iPhone 3GS!! I mean come on, I have had 3 phones in that period since my 3GS and most definitely have not been paying R200 insurance for the past 5 years on it! Was then informed that I had never requested cancellation of the insurance hence now I was being billed ***! I was disgusted and obviously appropriately upset I have been with Vodacom for 20years and never had issues like I have recently with billing and doing upgrades. For this insurance company to charge me for an archaic unit and implement cover for my 7 that had not been requested via a bleeping SMS is unbelievable to say the least. I have been advised the cover has been cancelled but I will be billed the R500 cover amount and it will apparently be credited next month, I am livid! I guess the response will be that it is an "external" company that blah blah blah's on our behalf well, there are some serious infringements here and I want answers!
