Mrs. C van Rooyen

Good day I have taken out a contract with Vodacom in Feb'21, paid extra at the store to get my screen protector, bodyglove, charger & cable as well as to transfer data from old to new phone. On mothers day, my phone fell and the " screen prktector" as I thought, broke. When I tried to replace the "screen protector", I was informed that there was never a screen protector on the phone. I went to Vodacom Mall of Africa where I took out my contract, showed the the slip where I paid for a screen protector but was obviously not put on my phone, had the discussion with John at the store. He called head office and they confirmed that they need to pull video footage. Two weeks later, I checked in with John again, not anssdring my calls, I aventually got hold if him from my work landline and he advised me that head office confirmed that they only keep footage for 3 months then destroy it. How can I be held responsible for a broken S21 screen if they have not app**** a screen protector which I paid for?
