Moved to another UNIT at the same address and now have no LTE

FIXED 20MPBS LTE - *** Moved to another UNIT at the same address and now have no LTE On Mon, 17 Apr, 15:25 (3 days ago), I sent the following email: I have a 20Mbps LTE (new) contract with Vodacom ***). On Saturday, the 15/04/2023, I moved to a different unit, AT EXACTLY THE SAME ADDRESS. There are 6 units on this property so the ADDRESS DID NOT CHANGE. The Unit Number changed; that's all. Since moving into the new unit, I do not benefit from the 20Mbps LTE package because the top LED on the Alcatel Router, WHICH MUST GLOW BLUE, does not. It continuously glows either green (or red) AND the router loses signal during loadshedding. I called your Cancellations Dept. to cancel this contract without paying a penalty. It's not my fault that you cannot provide the LTE service just because I moved into a different unit at the same address. Cancellations (***) told me to call 082155. Well, 082155 DOES NOT EXIST so now you have yet another Hellopeter complaint. I'm paying for an LTE service!!! Vodacom cannot provide the service when the power is on because it doesn't connect to LTE 20Mbps (AT THE NEW UNIT) and Vodacom cannot provide a service during loadshedding because the Tower goes offline and the top two LED's glow RED. WHAT NOW?????????. Remind me what I'm paying for, please. Regards, ANTHONY MILAR *** ID: *** 082

On the 20/04/2023 at 13:10 (3 hours ago), some #@!%# rep**** as follows: *** 13:10 (3 hours ago) Dear Customer, Vodacom is aware that many customers around the country will be experiencing issues connecting to the network because of the Load shedding that is currently in place. We have put proactive measures in place to help mitigate the effects of widespread load shedding. For instance, we have deployed generators at numerous sites across the country and are working as hard as possible to keep customers connected. Our towers do use batteries as a backup but these do have limited power and will eventually fail We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused- normal service will resume once load shedding runs its course. Have a pleasant day further! Regards Vodacom Customer Care Let me make one thing crystal clear...... Firstly, go and read my complaint properly before annoying me even further with this idiotic response (above). I don’t care about your batteries or any other excuse. I pay for a service and I want a service. My complaint is clear. What part was not understood????????????????????? I moved to a different unit, AT EXACTLY THE SAME ADDRESS. It continuously glows either green (or red).

Then, in addition to that problem, the router loses signal during loadshedding. This is unacceptable. Refund me for the downtime! Clear enough???

If you’re going to reply, reply to this: Since moving into the new unit, I do not benefit from the 20Mbps LTE package because the top LED on the Alcatel Router, WHICH MUST GLOW BLUE, does not. It continuously glows either green (or red) THAT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got it???????????????????????
