Most stressful sim swop!!

I've been trying to get through to Vodacom's call centre since last night after my smash and grab incident, as i had to blacklist my line. I managed to get through to a lady who said her system was down and that she'd transfer my call to someone who'd be able to help. She then dropped the line. I called again and as luck may have it, i got through to the same lady again. She dropped my call again. I tried calling again and held for over 20 minutes.

Today, I then decided to go get this done at a Vodacom in Fourways Mall. I was assisted by Vuyo. This was at aroung 9-10am. Vuyo told me the sim swop would be complete after 6 hours. I'm still unable to utilize my old number, 12 hours and approximately R60 later.

I'm very sure a sim swop isn't rocket science. So i wonder what excuse I'll receive from Vodacom.
