MOST PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND STAFF EVER

I recently experienced a snatch-&-grab, where a knife was at my neck and i was requested for my PHONE. With my son and my nanny in the car and gave my phone. I called vodacom to see if they can assist with IMEI and block the cell phone. I called VODACOM contact centre and they advised that i will need IMEI number in order for them to block the phone. I looked for the Cell phone box and contract for these details with no success. I called the contact centre back who advised me that i can take my ID book and go to the nearest VODACOM store as i did not have my box and contract due to moving to a new home. I visited the southgate vodacom store the Friday (09/09/2016), where the gentleman who assisted me did not even go into my profile and sent me to TELKOM mobile (i was using telkom mobile sim in the phone that was ******). I went to telkom who advised that they cannot assist. When back to vodacom store, where the same gentleman finally looked at my profile and tried to assist me. He unfortunately couldnt get the information i needed so i returned to telkom as he suggested that I speak to a manager. I went back to telkom mobile and the friendly staff member tried to assist and understand why i was sent by vodacom to him. He show me that the systems they using are different and could not assist with the details i needed to block my phone. I returned back to vodacom (just over 6 months pregnant, i was very tired and fustrated), the same gentleman advised me rudely that because i never put the vodacom sim card in the phone that was ****** they cannot help me, i then requested my proof of contract and he rudely said i need my IMEI number. Still trying to remain as calm as possible, i asked the gentleman to please guide me as to how i can retrieve my proof of contract or what i can do to get the IMEI number her simply said i cant help as i used another networks sim in the phone and he turned to assist another CUSTOMER. I put in a complaint with customer care and was advised that i need to send my ID, letter requesting proof of contract with IMEI/serial number be sent and it will take 7 working days. I sent this on the 10 SEPTEMBER 2016, sent a follow up email on the 12 & 13 September 2016. I called the customer care department today the 03 OCTOBER 2016 (almost a mouth later) only to be told that they will process my request today and follow up. I spoke to ZUKI (who advised that she is not allowed to provide me with her surname) who was not helpful and did not understand that i needed this document ASAP as i needed to go back to the police station and send this to my insurance. She was unfriendly and rude and did not listen to what my problem was, I requested a MANAGER only to be put through to Brenton Matthews who did not even know who he was speaking to, could not assist me and told me that i had to follow up cause i did not use a vodacom SIM card in the phone that was ******. I clarified to him that i can use whatever sim card in whatever phone. I requested that i be put through to a manager, Brenton advised that there are no managers available and he is not sure when they will be available. NO MANAGER able to take my call. My concern was that my insurance is waiting for this information which was requested on the 10 September 2016, is it fair that i must NOW wait another 7 to 14 days for this information at the risk of my insurer not accepting my claim. I havent experience such horrible service ever in my life where as a customer you are at fault and need to find your own solution or go to the competitors to assist you. I will definitely move to another network as VODACOM has a dont car attitude and cant assist their customers.

STILL WAITING FOR CALL BACK?????????
The PATHETICness still goes on, it is now exactly a month later after my request for my proof of contract (IMEI and serial number ) from VODACOM. Your attitude towards your customers is really in need of some huge IMPROVEMENTS. I have will not be able to block my phone or to follow through with my insurance claim due to your lack of service. I will hold you responsible for replacement of my samsung s5 mini as you are the cause of my claim being cancelled. Who needs a network LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Total and truely pathetic customer service.
