More than a year to cancel a contract - Sies

Well not sure where to begin. I took a new contract and at the shop I called Vodacom to cancel the previous on I had. Months later (about 9 months) I realised that my statement didn't make sence and called Vodacom to verify why I was being charged extra. The call centre call was on the 19/04/2016 and I explained myself to three people regarding my problem. After the long call I was told that they would escalate this to the relevant department. It is now 22/06/2016 after two debits and no one has contacted me from Vodacom. I then decide to call and all I was told was that sorry there are no records showing that you cancelled the contract. Well after two debit orders have gone through this is all that I am told and that we only cancelled your contract on the 30/05/2016 (after two debits). I want my matter resolved cause I will not be the one paying vodacom while their what ever investigating department is incompitant. I am now sure that this investigation was not done. As no one can answer my questions on why did they still debit my account if the issue was being investigated and when would they have contacted me to give me feedback regarding the escalated issue.

All Vodacom does is milk the poor of this country. No customer service at all this is very bad.
