More like Vodagone!!!!!

On Saturday i went to the vodacom shop in Clearwater mall and bought a new phone on prepaid which was on a special where you got R500 airtime, but you had to first chaqrge with a minimum of R29 which i did instore, i was told thaqt the airtime should be available after about 72 hours, after said period still no airtime so i contacted the call centre and was told in about 48 hours, after that i received an sms that basically stated i would get R500 airtime. Yesterday i again got onto the call centre as still no airtime and i got a very arrogant upstart who did not listen to a word i said, by now my blood was boiling and i demanded to speak to someone in charge, said person then assured me she would escalate it and send a query to the back office.
This morning i get a call saying sorry we have no record of that sms on your cell number, so i sent a very snotty email to vodacom and wow within less than half an hour i get a call full of apologies etc and they will get onto it, i get another call later no sorry we cant pick up the sms. Lets not forget that i have been a very happy customer of cell c for over 10 years and the only reason i went with vodacom was for the R500 airtime which can only be used on the sim that comes with the phone.

I find their so called service pathetic, i am sure one would more than likely get better service in Botswana or Zimbabwe!!!! I would love for the CEO of Vodacom to see this and actually do something.

I dont understand how they expect to make business if they carry out such false advertising and have such horrid so called customer service. As far as i am concerned the whole bliming customer service and back office team should get fired.
