Money taken yet no access to data

In March I started doing my upgrade, after issues of RAM not delivering it took me till 5 April 2018 before I received my router, after having to fetch it myself from RAM's depot. On 30 April 2018 I was still working when I suddenly had no internet access. I found that the number that I upgraded would not connect to the network and the additional data SIM that was also connected to the same contract would not work either. I checked to see if the router was broken by using a borrowed SIM card and it was working fine. Going online to check my data balance I found that it said "Unavailable". I phoned Vodacom customer care and they said they could not help as it was a contract and they transferred me to another department, that agent told me she could not help and she transferred me to a different department. This happened again and then that agent gave me another number to phone. The agent I spoke to then said that she would reset the SIM and phone me after 30 minutes to see if that worked. She phoned back after almost 2 hours but nothing had changed. I was transferred to another agent that said she thought it had something to do with the upgrade that would load the next day. I told her that it was not acceptable that Vodacom clears the data the day before as I still needed to complete the creditors and I was not able to send or receive any of the email that I needed and that I could not complete my work. She asked me to wait till 1 May 2018 so that we can see if everything comes right. As there was nothing else I could do I did my work after hours with a router I borrowed from my mother. Tuesday morning I was phoned buy a Vodacom agent asking if the problem had been resolved, but it had not. I was then told that the back office does not work on a public holiday and that they had logged the repair for 2 May 2018 and that I should wait. This afternoon at 17:20 the SIM is still not working and I still cannot get online. When phoning Vodacom they told me that I must wait for the agent to call me back. When I got no call I tried to phone again but I keep getting a message that I cannot phone the help center any longer. But today Vodacom did take their money for the next month out of my bank account even though I do not have the use of the SIM card and am not able to do my work. If I do not want to lose my job I will now have to go buy some data and load it onto another SIM card, but that cost will fall on me while Vodacom will not even let me know what is happening.
