I have loaded 1GB of data to my phone and a few hours later it was all gone. This has happened to me a week before as well where Vodacom quickly replaced the 1GB but no extra 500MB though. However, I have phoned on 1 September 2017 ans spoke to an agent named Koagile (if the spelling is correct) and he assured me that the escalations or back-office department will look into the matter as it was weekend and will get back to me within 48 hours from Monday, the 4th September 2017. That Wednesday, the 6th September 2017 I phoned Vodacom after 5pm again and spoke to a lady, who's name I cannot remember and assured me as well that the matter will be escalated AGAIN and that I will be contacted back the next day, the 7th September 2017. I have waited until after 5pm again on the 7th September 2017 and spoke to another lady who gave me her word that I will be contacted soon the next working day. I have waited and waited and no feedback, no call, no sms no NOTHING. I went to the Vodacom website and logged a "Call Me" and guess what. No "Call Me" has happened.
So I phoned Vodacom again today at 10:11 and spoke to Phila (if spelled correctly) who took her time to respond to my "Hello!" but has apologized for taking her time greeting me. I explained my frustration towards the poor and non-existing service I receive from Vodacom. She said that only the first call on the 1st September 2017 has been sent to the back-office for escalation but no solution was entered on their system. The last two (2) call from myself to Vodacom does not even have escalations to the back-office. Not even my "Call Me" was checked. So if they are so focused on "Customer Care", what went wrong? *********** employees or system problems? Your guess is as good as mine! I asked Phila (call centre agent) to please speak to her superior as she is not giving me solutions but only problems. She went to call Tumelo (supervisor - I think) and he explained that they cannot assist me as they can only see what is happening on the account and basic information. I have listened to this two (2) times and told him that I do not give a (number 2) and that I want a solution by the end of this working day and I also expect a call from him to advise me of how far this matter has been taken up. He tried to explain the process to me and I just shrugged it off as I am so peeved off at this stage that I hear only problems and no solutions. So if I do not get any feedback by the end of this working day I will be reversing my debit order and they can blacklist me by all means as I have another number with a different service provider who has been great. Really great!
Another thing. My Meg for the day does not work for me, to be honest.
So, I hope this gets to someone who would actually attend to my escalation query and to resolve this problem. As I will not pay my Vodacom account anymore. Wish I could get out of this contract as I now know why so many of my acquaintances have moved from Vodacom to another service provider. #movefromvodacomnow!
