misrepresentation of the terms of the contract (hoodwinked by vodacom)

around april 2017 i was telephonically contacted by one of vodacom's agents. she sold me a cell phone contract that seemed attractive at point of sale and resulted in me taking up the contract. the contract that i signed up for telephonically was for a Huawei P8 Lite for R149 per month (X24 months). the sales consultant's words were "for this amount you will receive airtime to the value of R150, this means that you will be basically getting the phone for free and only pay for airtime". now i know that it really was too good to be true. when the phone arrived i was not in the office even after i specifically instructed them to tell the courier company to phone me before they come to deliver at my place of employment. when i arrived the phone was deliered, i opened the box to discover that the handset was not a P8 Lite but a Y3. I decided to keep it and not complain since i was only going to pay R149 for R150 airtime (the phone is free right...well wrong). month end came and i was debited a little over R400 and my invoice indicated that my subscription is R174. when i checked my airtime i also discovered that i received R200. again i decided not to complaint because i was getting R200 airtime for R174 (again i was wrong). yesterday i was debited R199.

this is a complete polar opposite of the contract that i signed up for. this misrepresentation and deception by vodacom and its agents needs to be addressed and corrected. i was ****** and need this grave injustice to be corrected. Vodacom, do not even try to use the defence that an external company did this sale. they are your agents and by law their actions are also your actions and you are legally bound by them.

you (vodacom) need to correct this, its either the contract is cancelled in its entirety (because by law the contract is now voidable) or give me the P8 Lite that i was promised and change the subscription to R149 for R150 airtime as agreed when this contract was concluded.

what is your turn-around time on complaint resolutions?
what is your turn-around time on complaint resolutions?
Good day
I am waiting for a response to my complaint or have you decided to ignore it? Is this how you treat your paying client? All I got from you was an automated response and absolutely no action or even an attempt to contact me to resolve this matter. You must remeber that you are in breach and i am entitled to cancelling your authority to debit my account.
I want a response as a matter of urgency
