Misleading SMS notification

I submitted my phone for repairs at Vodacom Midlands Mall PMB, and received an SMS on 25 November to bring my ID for verification to collect the phone. I drove from Ballito to PMB (170km) on Saturday 26 November to collect it, just to be told that the phone was not at the branch and still with the courier company (RAM couriers) who by the way does not operate on weekends. I was explained that another SMS was to follow confirming that the phone can be picked up. As a non-vodacom employee, I was not aware that I needed to wait for yet another SMS before I could collect. VERY DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED

i have wasked half a day driving a 340km round rip for NOTHING.

the only reason why I am still a Vodacom client is because of coverage.

i don't recommend this company and this incident has once again confirmed my opinion of them.
