Misleading showcase

I went to the Vodacom shop in Mokopane mall looking for a new cell phone, on the showcase was a Samsung J1 Ace neo for R1499.00 so I asked the sales lady if I can have the phone, She went to the back and got the phone , I said I do not want a sim card as I will use my old number that has been Rica'd so she scan the box and told me the price on the computer is R1979.00, I asked her how can that be and she could not give me a answer , I left it there and paid her the R1979.00 just thinking that they did not have time to change the price. I bought the phone on the 19th of June 2017. I went to the same shop on the 17th of July 2017 and the price was still R1499.00 on display , a month later. Now I need some answers in regards to this because this is against the law to display one price and charge another
