MISLEADING SALES INFORMATION AND APPALLING AFTER SALE SERVICE

I had someone call me from Vodacom to offer me a mobile wifi package. The package would include 5GB data and 5 GB night owl data for R199.00. I accepted this offer and the device was delivered to me at work. Called vodacom customer service to have the device activated and was advised that it will take 14 days for activation. Luckily after 3 days it was activated, however, after going in on my profile I noticed that the deal that was sold to me and what I got was two different things. I only got 5GB normal data and the cost was R229. I went to a vodacom store with the device and told them I want to cancel the agreement as it was not what I agreed on. They advised me that I need to call the after sales number as the device needs to be collected by them. So I called them the following day, as it was still in my 14 days period, they assured me that someone will call me to confirm the date that they will come and collect the device. This was end of March. Unfortunately I did not make note of that call. On 3/5/17 I spoke to a Leboheng who assured me the same thing again. On 16/5/17 I spoke to Mho - i was advised that they will call back and they did ... advising me that the request for collection was cancelled, however, she has submitted another request and someone will call me to confirm collection. On 6/6/17 I spoke to Denzil who could not assist me as the system was down. After putting the phone down and redialing I spoke to Refilwe who could help me because her system was not down. She advised that collection was again re arranged On 17/6/17 I spoke to Refilwe again and she advised that the matter was escalated again. On 4/7/17 I spoke to Henry and he will have to call me back as Refilwe is on lunch. He needed to get feedback from her. Needless to say, he did not call me back. On 3/8/17 I spoke to Zamma who could not help me because the system was done. After putting the phone down I redialed and spoke to Dineo who's system was not down. They confirmed that they are still waiting for feedback from Ram and they will escalate this matter again. It is 25/8/17 today and to date 5 months later NO ONE had called me to come and collect this device. I have been paying for this device for 5 months and I am paying for something I did not agree to and that I do not want. If the correct details were given to me from the beginning I would have NEVER taken the offer. This is the type of service you get for being a loyal customer for the past 16 years. Absolutely appalling..... Hopefully someone can call me back and confirm when this device will be collected and a refund will be done.
