Misleading promos and unhelpful customer services

Vodacom and PEP are running dubious and misleading promotions on new phone purchases in the Vodacom network. I purchased a cellphone ( ********** 283) at PEP store in Waterfall (Rustenburg) on the 07/04/2018 with a promotion indicating that you should purchase R12 airtime and Vodacom will load R100 airtime & 100mb data. The PEP personnel also mentioned that the sim should be in the phone. I then loaded airtime of R12 same day and never received the promotion airtime. I then followed up with PEP supervisor (Olga) on 14 April and we phoned Vodacom to no avail. The consultant we phoned on the 14th said that Vodacom experienced technical problems and log a call for the airtime to be loaded in 7-8 days as no sms indicating that I should send an sms to 31118. Note: None of this sms being received and rep**** too is even communicated to PEP and customers in the initial purchasing of phones and on the promotion notes. I then followed up with VodaCom customer centre on 26th this morning and spoke to a consultant named Andrew. Now this Vodacom consultant want me to go to PEP store, take picture of the promotion, and email it back to Vodacom. This is uncalled for by VodaCom to intentionally mislead customers and then be send from pillar to pillar. Never purchasing Vodacom phone in PEP and customer service is unhelpful.
